“Willow Creek”

Mr. Nicolas Gorodetzky is the key figure leading the gang and one can add the project Dr.Rock & The Famous Merengo.

He is also a writer, and through both areas he deals with, he has achieved good results, and he is a person with great experience.

The new album’s title, “Willow Creek”, refers to the time Niko spent in Louisiana writing his thriller “Crucifixion Road”. With a team of really quality musicians, he created an album with 12 songs, which “vibrate” with a positive atmosphere, melodiousness, and to a good extent associate with some older times.

In his press material, the influences of bands such as Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers are mentioned, as well as the role played by British groups from the 60’s, with their musical heritage.

The influences of the mentioned Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers are more visible, but what Mr. Gorodetzky fought for, is a largely original variant of melodicity, which prevails over the completely prepared material.
“Willow Creek” is an album that “exudes” so call a summer atmosphere, quality musicianship and listenable songs, which “require” constant listening.
