Hemifrån is an independent A&R, promotion and marketing company, based in the heart of Sweden, specializing in, what they call, “gut music” – The kind of music that you can feel in your gut, no matter what. Mala Oreen – Awake

The songs of Mala Oreen’s upcoming album originated in a longer visit to the US, where she met like minded artists. Some left their stamp subtly and some are actual collaborators in songs appearing on the album. The themes of the album cover a lot of ground from enjoying the creative impulses life affords us all to its limitations, prison bars that it’s up to each of us to break. Tom Rodwell – Wood & Waste

Novelists famously use their day jobs for material, guitarist Tom Rodwell mines his crossover blues career with a writerly taste for the surreal on “Wood & Waste”, a decadent and charmingly outré collection, released on October 22nd, 2021. More information at Hemifran.

Gibrish – Ådalsbanan

Gibrish releases their 5th album, filled with the band’s, often acclaimed, own material. The theme of the band’s new album is the migration of people from the countryside to the city, but also about the military’s death shootings of protesters in Lunde in 1931. More information at Hemifran.

Allan Thomas – The Journey

Longtime singer songwriter Allan Thomas releases his 7th album, “The Journey”, featuring members from Steely Dan, Yellowjackets, Sting and James Taylor. “We Shall Stay Here”, Paul Kaplan’s 5th album, contains 12 songs that reflect the way he sees the world.
