Timo Räisänen is out with a tribute album to Ted Gärdestad, one of the most beloved singer/songwriters from Sweden. His music has touch many people and his music has been recorded by several artists.
In the west coast music world Ted Gärdestad became famous for his “Blue Virgin Isles” album release featuring an impressive list of L.A. Studio Cats: Jay Graydon, Lee Ritenour, Steve Lukather, Fred Tackett, John Collins, David Hungate, Ray Brown, Bob Glaub, Jai Winding, James Newton Howard, Dr John, Jeff Porcaro, Jim Keltner, Victor Feldman, Steve Porcaro, John Mayall, Steve Madaio, Jerry Hey, Gary Herbig, Venetta Fields and others.
The tribute album “Timo Sjunger Ted” was released in the beginning of March 2016, actually the days were Ted Gärdestad would have been 60 years. The album are featuring the Gothenburg Wind Orchestra.
